Hi, Zman.
The WLM Team made several changes in the latest GUI that irritate me - and a
lot of other posters here!
1. The pastel color scheme that makes everything so hard to read.
2. To preserve screen real estate (they said), they HID the Menu Bar
(Files, Edit, View, Go, Tools, Actions, Help) by default. To see the Menu
Bar momentarily, just press <Alt>; to toggle it on, <Alt>+M, M.
3. They replaced Send/Receive with Sync, which is almost the same thing
but not quite. We can no longer Send without Receiving, or vice versa; Sync
does both. And the Tools | Sync context menu in Mail is different from the
one in News. I've Customized my News toolbar to put the Sync everything
button on it, but I can't put that button on the Mail toolbar.
But they did provide a Send feedback option on the Help menu, so we can tell
them how we feel about these changes. ;<)
