ADL? ADLs? Do you mean DSL or ADSL?
Forget about your internet connection and the "modem" it uses. To fax,
you need to need to fax over the regular diaup telephone line. That
means you also need a regular fax modem, one that you don't use for
your internet connection. They are fortunately very inexpensive.
