from the other forum. Help? Windows Autoupdate is grayed out... that's my

Hi Bex,

Try d/loading and running this fix, provided courtesy of Kelly Theriot:
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm (scroll down to line 179,
right-hand column -->Windows Update Greyed Out - Restore)

If you want to review the registry edits that the above performs, once
d/loaded right-click on the updaterestore.reg file and select Edit, which
will open the file in Notepad.
