I am running XP Pro and have Office 2007 at work. I have all of my personal
and work related contacts in my "windows mobile smart phone". I sync my
phone to my work PC and don't really want my personal contacts on my work
PC. I have my contacts categorized 'work' and 'private' is there now a way
to separate my contacts during sync so that only work related contacts are
sync'd at work?

Then, once I get home where I'm running XP Pro and Office XP 2002, I want
ALL of my contacts to sync to the Home PC. Hope there is a way to accomplish
this.

Thanks,

Dennis

Hi Dennis,

Unfortunately, you won't be able to accomplish this. With WM5.0 and later
devices, category based sync was not made available. Even when it was
available, category based sync with two computers had their own set of
issues. At the moment, you will get all if you choose to sync Contacts.
