Which one of the numbers on the back of my notebook computer is my serial
number? Ex: starting with the N or 1?

No one here can answer that question. Go to the laptop mftr's website for
tech support. Almost all of them have a link to show you how to determine
your serial number. If you can't find this, contact the laptop mftr.'s tech
support by telephone.

How could we possibly know that? *You're* the one looking at the
computer. Which number is marked as the serial number (or Service Tag,
if you have a Dell)?
