Serv Pak 2 killed my e-mail & data

Installed Windows XP service pack 2 and have not been
able to use e-mail since. settings appear unchanged.

HOWEVER< Lost all data and all e-mail all folders, also
unable to connect to mail server - is there a fix for
this?
Thinking of reversing install, will that allow me to
retrieve previous e-mail address book, folders and MAIL
which is sorely needed for reference??
