server 2000 updates

when i'm trying to update windows 2000 server i get an error 0x800a0046
Please change your internet settings i have done this and followed the links
for other articles and i cannot get it to work anybody please help ?

Hi,

When searching for available updates on the Update site, you receive
the 0x800A0046 error.
http://update.microsoft.com/windowsu...cleid=20&ln=en

Note that if you in method 1 remove the user account from any groups,
you will need to log off and on again.

For method 2, note that SC.exe doesn't come builtin with Win2k. You can
download it from here:
ftp://ftp.microsoft.com/reskit/win2000/
