Server 2003 Can't install SP1

When trying to install SP1 I get the following error:
Setup could not verify the integrity of the file update.inf. Make sure the
cryptographic service is running on the server.

The cryptographic service is running and I have tried stopping and starting
it. I have tried to install from Microsoft Update as well as from the full
file download with the same error.

This is a Dell PowerEdge 1800 and SP1 has installed on another PowerEdge
1800 but gets the error on this one.

Help! I can't install several other things due to lack of SP1

Hi,

See if running the batch file fixdb.bat that I have created helps (it
is relevant for Win2003 Server as well):

Look for fixdb.bat under "Error 0x800710D9 Unable to read from
or write to the database". Download and run it.
