server 2003 fax service to email problems

Hello, Our server 2003 domain controller recently died and it fired the
usb drive with the backups. We setup the new domain only 4 users so no
problems there. We set up the fax services and that is great entered in
the information for it to email the faxes.

Now when we open outlook 2007 we recieve the faxes with the subject as
this fax was undeliverable. the account name and password and port are
all correct is there some other setting i am missing?

server 2003 sp2 with r2
usr robotics fax modem sends faxes and receives faxes properly.

or is there an alternative to the fax service?

not fax2mail or anything online but a standalone system that can email
the faxes?
