I did change the domain name, but their actual domain name is a .COM
domain...not my doing.
What is interesting is that the server at 172.17.0.14 is not a DNS server or
a WINS server. I don't know if it used to be, but it isn't now, and I
probably need to fix that. They didn't begin to have this issue until a
couple of weeks ago, and nothing to my knowledge was changed with any IP or
server role configuration. Also, when the issue occurs, I don't have any
trouble pinging the server via the server name. Could it still be a DNS or
WINS issue?
