Server 2003 won't update

One of my servers running Server 2003 won't update (I have managed to
download Service Pack 2 and install it). In properties the automatic updates
tab is grey and I can't select automatic updates. Also, the automatic
updates service is running and restarting it had no effect. If I go to the
windows update website it scans my computer and get this message:

[Error number: 0x80244017]
The website has encountered a problem and cannot display the page you are
trying to view. The options provided below might help you solve the problem.

The error code is for Windows XP and as I have 5 other servers running in
hte same system and updating the information is not valid. I emailed
microsoft support as update support is free to which I got an email back
telling me to search their support webpages - strangely I had already done
this but I can't find the information I need. Can anyone suggest something
to try to resolve this issue.
