I have SBS 2003 R2 standard installed on my server that is kept up to date
with patching etc. I want to add a Windows Storage Server 2008 to the domain
and when I try I get the following error.

Small Business Server Network Configuration Wizard

Client setup for Windows SBS does not configure client computers
that are running this version of Windows. For more information,
see the Desktop Technology Compatability Chart for Windows Small
Business Server 2003 at
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=75019

I tried 32bit and 64bit Storage Server, I also tried this morning with a
Windows Enterprise Server 2008 R2 64bit and got the same message. What am I
doing wrong?

Many Thanks in advance,
Viv.

If the client connect wizard won't work on any version of Windows, you can
simply join it manually. Control Panel - System - Computer Name - Change,
type the SBS domain name in the domain name box, click Ok, it will then
prompt for the SBS domain administrator credentials. Restart.
