Server Migration, Word, and Offline Files not playing nice

I moved all my user files from an aging Windows 2000 file server to a new
Windows 2003 one and now Word keeps looking for the old server when the doc
files are accessed. Offline files was turned off for the clients with laptops
before the old file server went offline. Then turned back on after the
migration. Anyone have a solution on how to stop this?

Side note. Someone in the Word discussion board had suggested running a
server Redirect?
