Service Pack 1 Problem..!

Hi,

OK, so my views.. I really like Vista, Sure i had to upgrade my PC's soooooo
much to get it to work well, but it worked and the office 2007, amazing!,
not once have I spent hours arguing with customers about why things that
worked amazingly well in office 97 no longer work or having to explain the
layout change... It really make's my life so much easier.. God bless
Microsoft.. but after installing SP1 on my notebook I get numerous Visual C
errors..
I do however notice like 1000% performance gain in copy files over the
network..
Cause I was bored, I installed Windows 3.1 on a virtual machine (VMWARE)..
And OH MY GOD! i think we've forgotten... On new hardware it loaded
instantly.. It takes you longer to double click than it does to load the
programs.. I'm starting to wonder if I should suggest DOS and Windows 3.1 to
customers because it performs amazingly on current hardware.. Where as Vista
not so much!

I understand that you have some concerns on the performance of Vista. As
you know, Vista increased user experience dramatically and included many
new features. However, new features and increased customer experience also
indicates more complexity and more demanding on hardware. It will be slower
than older operating systems, such as Windows 3.1. Our developers
understand that it is important to improve performance. They are and will
continuously refurnish our products to make it better.

Personally, I think that Vista is definitely better than Windows 95 and
Windows 3.1. I will definitely suggest customers installing Vista if their
hardware meets the requirement of Vista. Windows Vista introduces a
breakthrough user experience and is designed to help you feel confident in
your ability to view, find, and organize information and to control your
computing experience. The visual sophistication of Windows Vista helps
streamline your computing experience by refining common window elements so
you can better focus on the content on the screen rather than on how to
access it. The desktop experience is more informative, intuitive, and
helpful. And new tools bring better clarity to the information on your
computer, so you can see what your files contain without opening them, find
applications and files instantly, navigate efficiently among open windows,
and use wizards and dialogue boxes more confidently. Since DOS and Windows
3.1 don't have the same user experience with Windows Vista, I would like to
suggest that you let the customer to deploy Windows Vista on their boxes if
the hardware meets the need of the system.

I really didn't expect a reply to this... I was just bugged cause I had
spent a while writing an email and I got a Visual C error giving me the
option to Abort Cancel or Ignore, I clicked Ignore and lost my email.. Hence
the crazy rant...

As I do actually like Vista and I've only had these Visual C errors after
installing Service Pack 1 I will reformat my computer with a new DVD which
includes Service Pack 1.
