Service pack 2 bad installation problems

Ive installed SP2 multiple times now and everytime ive insalled it fine and
it reboots fine however midway into loading up the desktop it gives me this
exact error: STOP 0x0000008E (0x0000005, 0x80543c1d, 0xb8cf8b20, 0x00000000).
I have tried updating my bios and disabling some of my starting programs but
nothing has worked.

Does that include antivirus, spyware blockers, download accelerators etc?
