Service pack 2 Blue screen

I downloaded SP2 and installed it as per instructions. On restarting i got a
blue screen with IRQ NOT LESS OR EQUAL and a load of errors. the computer
would not start, even in safe mode. I had to do a complete system repair
from the installation disk. I now find that the PC takes about 5 minutes to
start and i get the Explorer needs to close message. Any suggestions ...

IRQ NOT LESS OR EQUAL = incompatible hardware( driver) or sofware.
You should of uninstall sp2 using the recovery console

If safe mode work remove sp2 from there.
if you can't use the recovery console.

If you can't and you can start up window and you end up with explorer closed
and you see only the wallpaper try
ctrl+alt+del for the task manager
application tab\ new task\ type sfc /scannow maybe it will work
