Service Pack 2 browser connect problem

Dear SP2 users,

Has anyone come across this problem. After installing SP2 my browser
was unable to find my dial up connection to my ISP. I couldn't find
out why and I've had to uninstall. Any ideas gratefully accepted.

I just installed sp2 and now, everytime i turn on the pc, it trieds to
connect to a LAN and tells me that it can't find my IP address. I've tried
to change it- My SYmpatico Broadband is working fine. BUT all I can do to
stop the LAN connection is to disable the ethernet card. I've been trying to
get someanswers on the Help site, but no luck so far. I don't need to connect
to a LAN
