Service Pack 2 free cd

i have just placed an order for SP2 cd that windows now offers my question is
this will i be able to install this without connecting to the internet, when
i reformat smy pc i have to connect to the internet to DL the updates and 9
times out of 10 i wind up with a virus b4 i can do anything

You do not have to connect to the internet when
installing SP2 from the SP2 CD.

You do not need to be connected to the internet to install SP-2 from the CD.

Your previous issues may have been prevented by simply enabling the firewall
before physically connecting to the network.
