At least you're using decent protection!

When was the last time you visited Windows Updates?
Do so, and see whether the Windows XP SP2 download is offered (I reckon it
should be, from the numbers you've shown)
If it is, then you have a decision to make
1) download the entire 240-odd MB XP SP2 installer for offline installation
2) order an SP2 CD from Microsoft (it's free)
3) use Windows Updates to download the XP SP2 stuff that isn't already
installed - I'd say this method is rather a 'last resort' (and I'm not sure
it's even possible any more)
4) see if you can borrow the SP2 CD from a neighbour or the local Library
While you're waiting for either the download, or delivery of the CD, you
should also download and run the Stinger, and Ad-Aware, because you may
already have a virus/spyware hijack.
download the Stinger from here and run it to make sure that A-V-disabling
viruses are not present on your PC
http://vil.mcafeesecurity.com/vil/averttools.asp
- update your virus scanner and run a full system scan of all files.
download AdAware SE Personal Edition from
www.lavasoftusa.com, install,
update, and run it to remove spyware, adware, and other such nasties from
your system (it tends to look for slightly different things to MSAS - and I
prefer it anyhow<g>).
Let me know how you want to proceed!
