service pack 2 not shown at windows update

I have winxp sp1 been waiting for sp2 to become available. windows update
upgraded itself to the newest ver, yet no sp2 . is there something Im missing

It'll be a while reaching everybody....some 100 million downloads
involved....soon!

look in yer add/remove prgrams in control panel...you will find SP2 listed at
the bottom if you got it...they took out SP1 and replaced it with Sp2 all the
time using the same file names in windows directory...Keep auto updates on
(always) that way you know it's deffinetly from Microsoft...
