Service Pack 2 Setup Errors

Hello,
I'm receiving these errors during installation of SP2:
#1: "The system cannot find the file specified."
#2: Service pack 2 installation did not complete. Select 'OK' to undo the
changes that have been made."
#3: Service pack 2 installation did not complete. Windows XP has been
partially updated and may not work properly"

I've tried to install 2 times and the same thing happens. What do you
recommend I try next?

Try this:

Try re-registering the following .dll files
Softpub.dll
Wintrust.dll
Initpki.dll
Urlmon.dll

1. Click Start >Run and type
regsvr32 Softpub.dll
Click okay to register it
You should get a dialog box telling you that it was successful.
2. Repeat the process for the other .dll files.
3. Restart your computer and try the update site again.

that should do it. Worked for me. I was trying to fix some ActiveX
problems and it fixed this problem too.
