Service Pack 3 issue

I loaded SP 3 successfuly onto my computer. Unfortunately, my computer now
runs veeerrrryyy slooooww. It takes about 15 minutes to boot up and every
command takes about a minute to execute. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I have removed SP3 from my computer and now it runs just fine. No delays as
before.
