I run Windows XP. Installed as an update over Windows ME. Windows Service
Pack 3 was recently automatically downloaded. It won't complete
installation. Tells me it can't find file STD.MSI and "The feature you are
trying to use is on a CD ROM or other removable disk that is not available.
Insert the "Microsoft Office XP STANDARD (I added emphasis)" disk and click
O.K. I have the upgrade disk for Windows XP - Apparently it isn't the
"STANDARD" disk. Where can I get the required file STD.MSI

SP 3 is for Microsoft Office, not Windows XP. Notice it is asking for
a Microsoft Office disk. That is what you need to insert.

Thanks - I'm feeling a bit foolish - I have the MS Office disk - am
reasonably sure the problem will be resolved.
