Service Pack error when installing Office 2003

I had to do a repair install of Windows XP. Since that time I can not get any
MS Office 2003 apps to execute. I get an error "The application failed to
initialize properly (Oxc01500002).

I try to re-install Office and get the following error - "Setup detected an
incomplete Windows XP service Pack installation on your computer. Office will
not run preperly until this update has been completed." Everything run fine
before my system crash and recovery and Windows Update seems to not have
anything to install.

Did you remember to reapply the Service Pack(s) to your install after the
repair? - if not, then do so.
