Service Pack II slow down

Since I've installed service pack two on the XP clients, my network has
seemed to have slowed down. Clients accessing and opening AutoCAD 2005
drawings takes way too long to open.

Jupiter,
Thanks for the information, the nic cards have the current manufacturers
drivers. We already run adaware and spybot, along with Norton and Trend.
