Service pack3 update failure

SP3 update program informs that it cannot update my Windows XP.

Can the problem be the registering of my Windows XP. RegWizExe stops just
when it tries to send the information I have typed ?

Could you be very specific (verbatim) about the messages you are seeing when
trying to install Windows XP SP3? Also be very specific about the method
you are utilizing to install Windows XP SP3 and what you have tried to do to
remedy the situation.
