First, I'm a computer novice. I usually download all of the Critical Updates
for Windows (I have Windows '98 SE) as they're sent to me. I'm just wondering
if I really NEED to download all of the Service Packs (in this case the new
Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1) that are automatically sent to
me by Microsoft. I'm asking because this latest one uses up 10.2 MB's of
space. Also, it fixes stuff I've never heard of and probably never use or
deal with. Can I get away with ignoring this service pack? How about in
general?
