I have a service which is set to start automatically but is continually
failing. Looking in the event viewer it is timing out. But when I
start the service manually it is starting fine.

The service is using localservice log in.

Does anybody have any ideas why this is happening and how to fix it?

Thanks in advance

Hi,

Probably another service it depends on hasn't fully loaded yet. On the
recovery tab of the service properties, try changing the 1st and 2nd failure
events to restart the service.
