I successfully installed the service pack 2 update, but after having doing
so, I have experieicned the following: 1) from the control panel i can not
access User acct., security center, add/remove program or systems icons. the
ocmputer is always on owner (the log in with adminsitrative rights). I
followed the instructions on pre installation procdures (updates from my
manufacuter, updated norton antivirus with norton internet security, did a
clean disk, and a defrag). although not present, i was running adware, left
it unattended and when I returned all i had was a blue screen and could not
access anything! I have instructions to uninstall the service pack, but
concerns regarding the editing of the registry and actually what is truly
needed after I uninstall the service pack 2. I do not consider my self a
"techie", but have some technical knowledge. I certainly don't want to
totally disable my pc. Ay help or suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated.
