Set Default Font when Sending Emails?

Is there anyway that whenever I go to make a new email or message within
Windows Live Mail that I can have a default font selected, rather than
having to go and change to my favorite font each time I want to message or
email? Help or instructions on how to do so would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

Is your default format HTML or plain text?

I'm having the same problem with retaining the selected font, even when using
the suggested method. The color stays, but font always reverts to Segoe
Print. Default format is HTML. Any suggestions? Thank you for any help.
(Small but irritating problem.)

Have you selected the default font under Tools, Options, Compose,
Font Settings? It works for me. Try some different fonts. Perhaps
some of your font files are corrupted.

I am having the same problem. The previous suggestions don't work. I also
have a problem with font color. It will not stay at the color I want as
default.

Are you using any stationery? Any settings in the stationery HTML file
will override your settings
