How to set default software for PREVIW

When opening image files Windows Photo Gallery used to launch if I click
on Preview. Now a graphic software launching is another graphic
software. How can I recover Windows Photo Gallery for PREVIWing image files?

Right click on a file of a particular extension e.g. .jpg and:

select "Open With" > "Choose Default Program..." > check the "Always use the
selected program to open this kind of file" checkbox if not already checked
> and select "Windows Photo Gallery" or whichever program you want to use >
click any OKs etc.
