How to set ESET with Win Server

Hello,
I installed inadvertently the ESET Smart Security antivirus and firewall on
my Win Server 2003 SP2 (with Active Directory). And now the loading time of
Win Server 2003 is greater
than 2 hours. Same time for the shutdown.
Do you have any idea of what setting in ESET I have to change so that my
server works again?
Or could you advise me another antivirus and firewall which works fine with
Win Server 2003 SP2 and AD.
Thanks for your help.

Mcafee works fine with Windows server 2003 SP2 and AD. I think probably most
AV's do. There must be something else wrong with your setup to cause this.
I would not use the AV firewall on a DC. Windows clients are supposed to be
able to connect to the DC, and I don't think a firewall does anything useful
to protect it once you allow clients to connect to it.

Thanks Anthony,

I'll try McAfee. The non compatibility of ESET Smart Security is now
recognized by ESET.
My network is very small (5 clients) and I cannot have a server dedicated to
the firewall.
Thanks again

That sounds worrying. What are you using the firewall for?
You don't need any server dedicated to being a firewall in a small network,
