Hi there peoples,

I am wondering if it is possible to get the security level in Vista back to
the same as in XP,because i am having problems accessing a website that runs
a java application with popup java windows, and the pop up windows always
stall after a few windows due to security settings in vista.

It was worse earlier, until i lowered the security in the internet
options, then i was able to access that website a couple of times, and then
the present problem (again). But since i lowered the security level
(individual settings),i have a persistent message at the top of every
browser window that says "your current security settings put your computer
at risk......." How do i get rid of that as well??

I am 100% sure that the problem of access to that website is due to security
settings as it will allow access when there are fewer popup windows at the
start.

Can anyone HELP ?

thanks in advance

Didn't you also post this in another vista newsgroup? When posting to more
than one group don't multipost, sending individual messages separately to
different groups. This is counterproductive. Crosspost which is sending
the same message to multiple groups at the same time. Crossposting, though
better than multiposting, should only be used where it really applies to
both groups, not as a scatter gun I hope I get an answer technique.

Then crosspost, but don't multipost.
