This is easy to do in XP but Vista SP1 still seems to be broken or is it me?
Is there a way to set Explorer folder views?

Clinton,

I think Vista know better than you how your view in Explorer should look.

The button, in Explorer turn on 'Menu'>Tools>Folder Options>View>Apply to
Folders doesn't work either. Or at least not to my way of thinking.

Clinton,

I am even having trouble getting access to my own Documents. Access is
denied.

I'm having the same problems. This piece of **** won't allow me access to
folders and I often can't rename or delete files and I've even disabled the
UAC.

Hve you installed SP1? It cleans up some, but not all of the explorer
bugs.

I have SP1 installed and Explorer is FUBAR. Furthermore, my file system is
practically inaccessible to me. The only way I can do some tasks is by
logging onto another machine and accessing Vista over my LAN. Now I'm
getting to understand why so many have said Vista is good for ****. Its
almost completely unusable.

thetruthhurts ,

Vista SP1 didn't help me. And I have heard others say, 'it is not worth the
download speed.'
