Setting java class variables

Does Vista have the equivalent of an autoexec.bat file? I want to set the
class and classpath variables for java, but my book is only current for
Windows XP.

Start, type : sysdm.cpl
Advanced tab, "Environmental Variable" button

In the Control Panel's "System" applet there is a dialog that allows
you to set environment variables. You can set one or more variables
for all users (if you have sufficient privileges) or only for the
current user.
