i forgot to mention that i can connect to the internet via a D-Link wireless
G broadband router, and the printer is a HP Photosmart 7960. iam not sure if
this information is necessary but its there if needed.

Set the printer as shared on the computer it is attached to.
when you go to add a printer in Vista, it should show up in Network Pronters

I purchased a wireless print server (Netgear) on Ebay it was refurbished.
The only problem I'm having is it occasionally prints half a page but
corrects itself. I'm going to pick up a Netgear wireless router to see if
it helps (currently using Ativa). I disabled bi-directional printing and
start printing after last job is spooled which seemed to help.

Hi Josh

I was thinking about getting one of those as well for a secondary printer of
mine - glad to hear they work. Any idea if an all-in-one type printer will
work with a wireless adaptor? I mean for scanning?

Follow this to share the printer on the XP computer. You shouldn't have to
mess with the Additional Drivers part...
