I am currently trying to set up a distribution of Internet Explorer 6.0
SP1 for all our corporate computers. I am having problems customizing
the install. I have loaded IEAK and have most of the settings I need
but there are a few that have illuded me.

All the below are from the Advanced settings page except the first.

1. Temporary Internet File Folder size. I seem to be maxing out at 32
megs when I use IEAK but need it to be 100 megs.
2. Enable Install on Demand. There are 2 settings with this name. One
is for IE and one is for third party I believe. I need to enable both
of these.
3. Enable Personal Favorite. I need to turn this on
4. Show IE on the Desktop. I need to turn this on
5. Use Passive FTP. I need to turn this on

I have used Install Watch and I no what settings are changing in the
registry when I make the changes in the GUI but they are all in the
HKCU and HK_Users keys in the registry. These settings do not hold for
all users, only the current users. I need some way to make the change
for any user that logs into the machine.

I have made all the changes as the administrator, logged in as a
different user with admin rights, deleted the contents of the Default
User Profile, and replaced it with the contents of the Administrator
profile. Once I do this all new users that are created have the
settings that I set up in the Admin profile but existing users still
have the default settings. Unfortuantely as I have 4000 machines to do
this to I cannot do this for every machine.

I was thinking about trying to set these using Group Policies enforced
by Novell Zenworks but I am having difficulty finding these settings in
the policy object as well.

If anyone can point me in the right ddirection as to where I can find
information on the settings and how to set then as default I would
appreciate it. I am having a hard time understanding why the Max value
for the Cache Directory that I can create under IEAK is 31 megs but
within IE I can increate it to as much as I want using the slider.

Thanks in advance
Xpdite
