Severe Boot Problem 0xc0000221 missing or corrupt pciidex.sys

can the chkdsk /f cure this problem also. I have used the Vista 64 repair
disk with no joy.

Went to Dos Prompt and did chkdsk /f and found no problems. Then tried repair
and did not work, going to a previous restore point did not work. How do I
get a non corrupt pciidex.sys
