Dear all,

i have setup two cluster sql servers connected with a shred disk. i see
that the shared disk is a single point of failure. if the shared disk
becomes unavailable then the cluster is loss, doest not work.

mij questions:

1. how can i make the shared disk avaiable on any time?
2. can i install two shared disk and connect both to the two sql servers
via iSCSI connection or what?

rgds,

almatador

You should consider looking into a multi-pathed solution for your storage.
Of course, if the storage fails, it doesn't matter how many paths to the
storage that you have.

At this point, you would be looking into a multi-site clustering solution
where your disk is mirrored to another physical disk in another storage
array. Depending upon your budget and storage vendor, there are many
different solutions available that will help to integrate this remote
mirroring solution with MSCS.

John
