Hello, go to the Network and Sharing Center.
There should be two options you'll need to check there.
Public folder sharing 'on', 'read only' or 'off'.
And also Password protected sharing, which can be 'on' or 'off'.
You'll want the first one to be on or read only. And the second one to be
off. That should do the trick.
