sharing files

I can't seem to share files anymore with MSN messenger.

My shared folders icon is gone.

any suggestions?

I have mine working again. Had to download a "sharing folders
utility" from microsoft.

it cleaned up messenger (deleted everything that was shared in the process)
i re-installed messenger and its working again.

thats the link if you need the software.

its more likely that there was an issue connecting to the sharing folders
service on the mesesnger server.

You will find all of your existing contacts for shared folders in My
Documents/Sharing. I have the same problem since 8/11 as well. There are
instructions available to share a folder by grag & drop. You can facilitate
the your
access by copying the Sharing shortcut & pasting it on your desktop.
