Hi Steve,
On the Vista machine, place the files to be shared in the Public folders
structure, or make sure that the folders housing the files are set for
network sharing the in the folder properties. Then, open the Network and
Sharing Center in the Control Panel and enable network discovery and public
file sharing. If you've enabled other folder shares as well, then you also
need to enable this option.
Once the above is done, you should be able to access the Vista folders over
your network by simply typing \\vista_machine_name (replace with actual
name) into the address bar of Windows Explorer, or by double clicking the
network icon.
