Shockwave.com Keyhole DRM has stopped working

I have searched this community on this particular error message before
and I have yet to find an answer to this problem: Shockwave.com Keyhole
DRM has stopped working. I also have paid money for games and I'd like
to know what I can do to fix this - thank you in advance!

Have you asked shockwave.com for an answer? They're more
likely to have one than we are.

After some further research, I have found that this error message i
most commonly attributed with a conflict with Shockwave and DirectX

Typically, re-installing DirectX will address this issue. For you
convenience, I have provided a download link to the DirectX downloa

Okay, this is why so many people don't even try to get help with their
computer problems on message boards. There's too many jackasses just
waiting for their next opportunity to verbally someone whose simply asking
for advice. I know, it's probably just a few lonely jerks with low self
esteem and some sort of severe PMS-like condition. Most of the posters
are perfectly nice...but it's just so obnoxious to see these rude
insulting replies aimed at people inquiring for advice.

Besides, it's a good thing this person responded to this old post because
it helped me solve my problem with Shockwave games, which a lot of people
are experiencing. It was a conflict with the DirectX. :-)

How'd you solve it? I can't get any shockwave to play in Vista ie7 but they
will in firefox.
