short Start menu

Vista Home premium 32 bit SP1, WM/WLM
Once a while when I clicked on Start button, a SHORT start menu popped up. I
had to re-click again to get the ' full ' size Start menu.
Has it happened to anyone ?

Not here, and I don't remember ever seeing it mentioned during the 15
months I've had Vista and have been monitoring the Vista groups.

I've seen it many times, but only if I use a right click on
the Start button instead of a regular click.

No, right click is for other purposes. Not for Start menu.
