Shortcut changes when changing attribute from "Normal window" to "Maximized"

Hi folks,

I got a little problem bugging me:
I like to have a shortcut on my desktop that leads to my user-files.
But since there is a difference in the way items are sorted between the
folder "Username" and the folder "C:\Users\Username" I would rather have the
second one as shortcut.

So far no problem, I explore to C:\Users, right-click on my username, and
choose "Send to" -> Desktop (shortcut).
But if I want this shortcut to open maximized, and set that in the shortcuts
properties it changes back to the standard shortcut the the user-files.

Does anyone know a fix for this?

Sorry about the weird story, I hope you`ll understand what I mean :-)

Hello Magoo

Vista remembers the folder views for when the folder was last closed
Open the Username folder from the Start Menu, "C:\Users\User Name", an
shortcut locations separately, then maximize each window and close them
It should open maximized the next time you open.

If it still does not remember, then apply Method Two in this tutoria
below to reset the folder view settings. Next, repeat the above again t
maximize the window

Hope this helps
