Shortcut on desktop for quicker restarts

I would like to know if there is a way I can make a shortcut for my restarts,
without the drawnout wait, that maybe would bypass all the logging off,
shutting down screen bootup info F2 or F10, etc. I am using Vista basic.

Right-click desktop > New > Shortcut > Paste in this line and call it
something like 'Restart'

shutdown /r /t 0
