I am looking for another way to get to the volume control besides the icon in
the system tray. I can't seem to find any shortcut or route or anything.
Any ideas?

If you prefer to have a shortcut on desktop to control volume, you need to
create a shortcut to the SndVol.exe file.

- Right-click empty area on desktop.
- Point to 'New', and then click 'Shortcut'.
- In the 'Create Shortcut' wizard, enter the location as
'C:\Windows\System32\SndVol.exe' (Replace C: with your system drive).
- Type a preferred name for the shortcut, and click 'Finish'.

Hope this helps,
Abby

You could get yourself a media center remote control and use the volume
controls on it.
