Should I change back from MSU to WU?

(Why no MSUpdate group - or some sort of link to this one from a shortcut
named as MSU?)

Since changing from Windows Update to MS Update, I have a permanent balloon
popping up at start up, which tells me to update Office and Visio (can't do:
discs not supplied with pc), but it does not tell me about the security
updates for the rest of Windows any
more.

If I go to the website, it searches for updates in the normal way, and today
came up with several security updates for XP for example.

Should I change back to Windows Update?
I normally have auto updates set to inform rather than load direct, and it
worked fine in WU.

Regards,
Steve_H

No response, so I've gone back to the old way. Bye bye stupid pop ups.
