should i update the net framework 2.0 service pak?

I saw the yellow shield popup for an update to net framework 2.0 which is
the service pak 1
should I update this and why?

Quite the list, no ? Just clicked a few of the provided links and each
one was a Hotfix for a specific issue. Instead of having to contact MS
for each of the Hotfixes it appears that they've been bundled into SP1.
I did not see any Security fixes in the lonnngggg list of Hotfixes so,
apparently, these are all performance and reliability fixes.
