Should Vista Know this?

I have a Laptop Running Preinstalled Vista home premium. Yesterday I just
noticed a 4 in 1 media reader on the side on it. Should it be shown in the
Computer folder and in the Device Manager?

Best way to find out if it works is to put a Media Card in and see if it
picks up.
You can check under USB devices for it...

Insert some media and it should install the hardware.

You should have a removable drive(s) listed under the section 'Devices
with Removable Storage' in Windows Explorer (aka "Computer")

Also if you have the 'Safely Remove Storage Device' icon in your
system tray it should be shown there.
